Happening this week: Together with Uganda Seed Trade Association, and Afsta Seed members, including individual seed companies like @QualiBasic Seed Company (QBS) and associate members like @Resourced this week in Uganda, AFSTA secretariat through Catherine Chepkurui LANGAT is actively participating in #Seed stakeholders event organized by AGRA-Sustainably Growing Africa’s Food Systems. on best practices in seed businesses. In the course of the week, AFSTA will be engaging continental seed stakeholders from #AGRA, CGIAR as well as private and public sector country representatives from #Uganda, #Kenya, #Ethiopia, #Malawi, #Zambia, #Burundi, #Tanzania, #Mozambique, #Rwanda and #SierraLeone. In line with AFSTA #strategicplan 3.0, the AFSTA Secretariat will intervene on the session on #Tools, #Planning and partnerships for #sustainable #seed supply underlining seed traders’ association roles in capacity building and #advocacy and particularly highlighting #challenges and #opportunities as well as #partnerships with AGRA and other actors.
