Step 1: Register as a seed dealer and obtain a certificate of registration
Registration of seed dealers is now done through ATMIS https://atmis.kilimo.go.tz/atmis/tz/co/infowise/amis4t/home/homeuc.jsf

- A business licenses
- Register the company with the Ministry of Industries and Trade
- Certificate of Incorporation-Registration and
- Memorandum and Articles of association of the company.
- Submit a company’s profile outlining company seed production strategies short, medium- and long-term plans, location of the company, land of production, skilled personnel, process plant (owned or hired)
- Financial status
- Certificate of Training from TOSCI
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)

Step 2: File a Notice to Import (SR 12) to Obtain a Seed Import Permit
This is done through ATMIS portal on TOSCI Website:
